Design Engineers
Due to a pipeline of large international projects and anticipated growth across our core UK markets, we are looking to fill a number of roles across our Engineering Department.

Manufacturing Engineer
This vacancy has arisen in the Engineering and Production Department to join a busy team of Engineers within the Company. This is a full time role which will provide administration support to the Operations Manager and ensure the smooth operation of the Factory.

Principal duties & responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate controlled engineering change activities for manufacturing activities and processes.
  • Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and work streams to identify areas that could benefit from controlled change(s) and efficiency improvements.
  • Creating robust methods of manufacture in conjunction with the Design teams with a ‘Design for Manufacture’ mind-set.
  • Create Material Masters and material master MRP fields.
  • Provides manufacturing costing information by calculating production labour, material costs; reviewing production schedules and estimating future requirements.
  • Demonstrate Process Improvement skills including the use of ‘Lean’ tools and processes to drive increased manufacturing productivity, efficiency and product safety.
  • Support productivity measurement and associated improvement activities.
  • Assist with nesting and programming of CNC Plasma machines.
  • Any further related tasks as defined by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications & abilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering.
  • The ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Experience of various types of manufacturing processes.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office.
  • Experienced in using SAP/MRP systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
