Important notice for use of Abacus lowering devices on other manufacturers columns
Abacus are aware of other column manufacturers claiming compatibility with our own manufactured lowering tools. For the avoidance of any doubt, Abacus have not tested their products with any other manufacturers lighting columns.
Our operating instructions do not state that our products are compatible with other lighting columns and any loss or injury using an incompatible device will be wholly attributable to the user. Any use of Abacus spring or hydraulic tools with any columns other than Abacus manufactured columns is in contravention to the manufacturer’s instructions.
